Who We Are Seeking
The Virtual Design Modeler II is the second position in the Modeler series. The Modeling role is integral to in-house Architecture, Engineering, VDC, manufacturing, project management and construction/installation of large scale commercial projects. Using various modeling technologies and processes, the modeler produces detailed models that are coordinating with other design and construction disciplines for streamlined workflows, lower costs and higher quality. The VD Modeler II will work closely with the other VD Modelers, VDC Managers, FLINT Architects and Engineers, and project teams with goals of completing successful projects, developing their skill sets, and progressing through their career path.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills
Education in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Drafting, or a related discipline or equivalent field experience or related work experience.
5+ years of experience in a BIM (Building Information Modeling) environment (training experience may be considered).
Proficiency in the latest versions of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
Ability to create and manipulate schedules for creating take offs, BOM’s, and cut lists.
Ability to read and understand drawings from multiple disciplines and identify potential flaws and risks.
Ability to troubleshoot minor software issues independently.
Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
Ability to effectively communicate across multi-disciplinary teams.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
