A Message From AIACV'S 2025 PRESIDENT

2025 was a very active year for AIACV! I am extremely thankful for the privilege to serve as President and make strong connections with so many of our members and partners.

The AIACV Board, our Knowledge Communities, Partners and many volunteers executed on several fronts to progress 2025-2029 Strategic Plan Initiatives:

·       Renewed focus on communication and establishment of a  Membership Outreach Group

·       Launch a new website with integrated calendar

·       Refresh of social media

·       Shift Design Awards to Common App platform for consistency with AIA

·       Hosted ZNCD and ADA training-in-a-day

·       Hosted varied Knowledge Community programs and tours

·       Elevated our Experience Architecture programming and tested out new events

·       Support programs focused on young professionals, students and AIAS

·       Officially eliminated local supplemental dues, reduced local student dues

These steps were possible due to sustained efforts of many of you – so I would like to recognize the achievements of this AIACV community. We are truly a friendly, engaged and talented group!

The AIACV is off and running in 2026 with a newly installed President / Board of Directors, an impressive new Executive Director, Kelly Garman – and a returning assistant in the Programming and Communications Coordinator role, Alexys Vancil. There is much to come – so I encourage you to join with us, take advantage of all the AIACV offers, and share your voice to advance our vision – to be the leading community resource on architecture and the profession in our region.
