Welcome to the AIA Central Valley’s Experience Architecture 2025! We are truly excited to 

share this year’s lineup of events – a dynamic mix of discussions, presentations, tours and gatherings - all in support of our theme: CONNECTIONS. 

As professionals, young professionals, students, associates, community members – we are enriched by the connections that bring meaning and momentum to our work, our profession and our region. While we each face increasing complexities in our roles, we can find inspiration through engaged conversations and celebrating collective accomplishments. 

Our Experience Architecture task force was drawn to the theme of CONNECTIONS as it reflects our intention to: 

• Spark professional inquiry and growth 

• Support interdisciplinary dialogue 

• Embrace diversity 

• Forge better understanding 

• Connect the dots between building, environment, and climate change 

• Recognize history, themes and relationships that define context and shape new possibilities 

We invite you to join us in thoughtful conversations, a tour of an inspiring project in progress, an exploration of a corner of your town, or an opportunity to meet new people who are engaged with design in our community. We'll share the program guide, generously sponsored by Comstock’s Magazine, as soon as it's available in early September.
