This is the meandering story of the drawn line connecting a man in Rome, Italy to a nine-year old girl in Sacramento, California. The distance is great and the time shift no less impressive at 170 years. To read more click here.

London’s columns are like dancing sirens. Watch out- they’ll turn you into an architect!
I love that Ricahrd brought his daughter to draw with him, to share what they saw and experienced and to have her express her sense of design and architecture. My 5 year daughter pretty much understands what I do and we talk about buildings and spaces and places and what she likes about them. We spent a hour in the Leggo store two weeks ago “designing and constructing” buildings. She bulit a cool little house and helped me work on my high rise. It was a great experience for both of us.
