The Line That Connects

This is the meandering story of the drawn line connecting a man in Rome, Italy to a nine-year old girl in Sacramento, California. The distance is great and the time shift no less impressive at 170 years.  To read more click here.

  2. I love that Ricahrd brought his daughter to draw with him, to share what they saw and experienced and to have her express her sense of design and architecture. My 5 year daughter pretty much understands what I do and we talk about buildings and spaces and places and what she likes about them. We spent a hour in the Leggo store two weeks ago “designing and constructing” buildings. She bulit a cool little house and helped me work on my high rise. It was a great experience for both of us.
