Emerging Professionals ~ ARE and more!

ARE 4.0 Seminar Series
Chapter is taking a new approach to our Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) preparation seminars and have  teamed up with Funkaar Studios to provide our ARE and CSE courses.

Funkaar Studios has the largest ARE program in the nation and has successfully prepared over 10,000 attendees nationwide. Instructors are qualified, licensed architects as well as university level professors and, according to Funkaar surveys, students average an 83% pass rate per ARE division.

The Chapter hosted a sample class to provide an opportunity to experience the Funkaar teaching style and course content.  Several AIACV Associates attended and feedback was very positive:

“The instruction style was the best I’ve ever seen….”

“The presentation is dynamic, and it kept all students motivated.”

“The instructor covered what appeared to be the major points of the exam, and what issues will be brought up on the exam and provided focal points for study and great guidance on the vignette.”

“The course was very helpful in terms of discipline and scheduling, especially working full-time with a kid.  The day-by-day syllabus and exam schedule was, ultimately, what I needed to get the ARE’s done.  I passed every exam, and even moved the last couple of exams forward in order to finish before the holidays.  Three months was the right amount of time to get my friends and family on board—the end was always in sight.”

All classes will be held in the AIACV Gallery, 1400 S Street, Suite 100.

AIA members in active, good standing will receive a $100 discount off full course bundle registration only. Payment plans are now available. Please click on the registration link for more information.

The 2014 ARE course schedule is in the works, please check back. Courses will begin in September 2014 and run through December 2014.
