Gradually Going Green: Working with LEED, v3

Series is sponsored by RWM architecture & interiors and is presented by Gloria Rasmussen, AIA, CSI, LEED-AP, BD+C

CSI and AIA Central Valley are teaming up to provide an opportunity to  understand the concepts of Green Building as presented by LEED.  This course is designed to explore and understand the principles and uses of the LEED v3 credit system. It does not cover the actual process of certification, since that process is explained very clearly in the USGBC website.

The course has been designed as a series of talks for the project team members to explore, understand and incorporate the sustainability requirements of LEED v.3 into their projects.  This course will help you to better understand and have a working knowledge of how sustainability fits into every project.

We will explore construction sustainability issues in an organized manner from incorporating sustainability into the project process (contract, project design, and project delivery) to how and when to coordinate these issues with members of the team.

The series will focus on LEED 2009  for Interior Design + Construction and LEED 2009 for Building Design + Construction, and are intended for all members of the project team, including designers, CM’s and contractors.
