An excellent presentation by Mr. McDonald. I am encouraged to hear that transportation planning has progressed in the last few years, innovation is an option and recreating our successful classic neighborhoods is possible. Even with a tight budget, our regional planners are doing their best to progress alternative modes of transportation with a clear vision in the General Plan and the Matrix permitting process to keep smart growth projects from seeing red tape.
Thanks to Jim and the AIA/UDA organizing committe for making these dialogues some of the best in Sacramento.
