We encourage your participation in the tournament as a sponsor, golfer, or donor of raffle prizes or auction items. CIEF solicits support from the design and construction industry, as well as other regional resources, to invest in educational programs and scholarships that improve the quality and increase the quantity of workers entering construction-related careers – a critical factor in sustaining skill sets, integrity and leadership for our industry.
Over the past three years more than $80,000 in scholarships for high school and college students have been funded through CIEF to motivate interest and sustain study in the design and construction industry. In addition, comparable matching fund donations through CIEF supported Sacramento State’s dramatically strengthened Construction Management curriculum and program over the previous five years. CIEF also provided the seed money to found Sacramento’s hugely successful ACE Mentor program – and remains a reliable funding source for ACE Mentor Sacramento, which each school year serves the demonstrated interests of nearly 400 high school students with inspired mentoring by nearly a hundred seasoned professionals from 70 firms spanning the Architectural, Contracting and Engineering sectors. Leveraged through strategic alliances and partnerships among private enterprises, educational institutions, and governmental agencies, your generous support of CIEF annually allows more than 800 students in our region to reinforce interest in construction industry careers through enriched educational experiences.
