The Chapter was thrilled to welcome over 100 attendees to our recent biennial Encounter Design event–held Second Saturday July 10th.
Attendees braved the warm July evening to enjoy an insightful presentation on the Eames Legacy (with two members of the Eames family), the opportunity to taste wines from six boutique wineries, listen to live jazz music and sample delicious appetizers from MagPie Catering. The Chapter has received many compliments on our two art exhibitors: Rudy Calpo, AIA and Brian Lefholtz–we thank them for participating.
Planning, Land Use, Design and Environmental professionals are invited to join us for a series of five interactive sessions to discuss how we can use the resources we have to cultivate and maintain healthy and thriving communities in our region. Each session will take place on the final Friday of each month from July through november from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
