			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The AIA issues Public Policies and Position Statements as &#8220;statements of belief to policy-makers, the public, and the construction industry on issues of public policy affecting the membership, the profession of architecture, and The American Institute of Architects.&#8221;</p>
<p>Each Position Statement carries a three-year sunset date. The AIA Board of Directors (Board) is now in the process of conducting a comprehensive sunset review of current Position Statements as mandated under the Rules of the Board.</p>
<p>If you would like to participate in commenting or making recommendations<strong> </strong>on any of the Position Statements, please go to the link provided below.  The statements can be reviewed one at a time.  You may review one, none, all or a select number of statements of particular interest to you and/or your component.  This year we are featuring a series of questions for each comment along with boxes to add addition comments.</p>
