I have not gone to any meetings but I have a lot of questions about any thing being design and built on the mall formally. After seeing the presentation images, a lot of the inspirations are monumental art pieces or interactive public space. That looks great, but its location is appropriate in all those areas. On the other hand, the capitol mall is purposely a monumental axis to the capitol. I really do want something to be done on the mall since it is a large unused void, I am just worried about what how well it will connect with the capitol. I question if you have anything built there then it ruins the original purpose. But then again, I guess that's a challenge for each designer in the proposed competition.

this is some great momentum in the right direction, with the right questions being asked. finally this is not a singular agenda being pushed but a concerted effort to promote the right ideas that will benefit our region and its core.
