This course covers the basics of how Fire-Rated Cementitious Coated OSB (FRCC OSB) sheathing can be used in wall and roof sheathing applications. Topics to be covered include:

- The impact of FRCC OSB (the use of it) on the environment.
- Testing standards relevant to FRCC OSB.
- Sustainability benefits of FRCC OSB.
Speaker: James R. Dukart, National Sales Manager, International Barrier Technology Corporation
James joined Barrier Technology in 2007 as National Sales Manager for Blazeguard Fire-Rated Sheathing. Prior to Barrier, Mr. Dukart was a national sales manager for a marine products company, and prior to that, for 15 years he was a national trade magazine editor and writer focusing on the a variety of topics including building materials. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) and is a member of the Associates Committee of the Builders’ Association of the Twin Cities in Minneapolis.
