Allied Presentation: The Benefits of 3D Laser Scanning for Architects

Learn to create deliverables from 3D scan data for architectural projects!

Please join AIACV Premier Partner California Surveying & Drafting Supply for a two-hour lunch program as we demonstrate how raw 3D point data can be used to create line work and surfaces.

Working with a Trimble Technical Product Specialist, we will show examples of historical preservation
projects, common building as-built projects and how you can monitor building construction projects
using 3D scan data. We will then share how these objects can be imported into your CAD and BIM softwares to create a final deliverable for your customers. We will conclude with a question and answer session where attendees will be encouraged to ask questions.
